To respond to the threats of ground invasion launched by then Israeli Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon during a previous Islamic Resistance operation entitled “The Devouring Storm.” He said: “Ya’alon threatens us with a ground war… Do you threaten us with what we are waiting for, O son of Judaism?… Gaza awaits you, bearing terrible death… The world will see the skulls of your soldiers trampled by the children of Gaza with their bare feet, and we will make it an opportunity for the desired hope for our prisoners.”
