I am older than Israel

During a heartfelt exchange between Mrs. Hadiya and Saleh Al-Jaafrawi, a striking truth was spoken:

“You were born in 1944, meaning you were born before the Nakba. You are older than Israel,” Saleh said.
“Of course, of course,” she replied.
“Palestine is our land,” Saleh declared.
“I am clinging to the land and will not leave it,” she answered firmly.

Mrs. Hadiya’s words echo the resilience of generations — rooted deep in the soil of Palestine, unwavering despite decades of displacement and occupation.

She lived through the Nakba, through occupation, through injustice — and she held on.
Until the very end.

Mrs. Hadiya was martyred — sniped in front of her home by an occupation soldier.
But her voice lives on.

A voice older than Israel. A voice that refuses to be silenced.
